FULL CAR SERVICING

Standard Car Service
A standard service is recommended annually or every 10,000 miles - depending on which comes first. The service involves a 50 point check which includes an engine oil change as well as full brake and tyre inspections. These checks can help ensure that some of your car's most important fluid levels and overall condition are suitable until your next scheduled service.
One of the most important things included in a standard service is an oil change. Which helps to make sure that important components in your car's engine your car's engine can move freely. Old oil can restrict movement of these parts and over time cause damage.
Comprehensive Car Service
A comprehensive service is advised every 20,000 miles or every two years, depending on which comes sooner. The Comprehensive service includes all the checks and fluid changes of standard service and adds wheel balance and alignment checks, spark plug changes and a change of fuel and air filters. Changing these components at appropriate intervals can help make sure that clean air going into the engine and can spark efficiently when required, meaning that your engine contributes to run smoothly.

DIAGNOSTICS
When a warning light illuminates on your dashboard, an engine diagnostics check can help identify the problem before more serious damage occurs.
What is a car diagnostics?
All modern cars contain on-board computers that monitor or control things like emissions levels, engine temperature and even windscreen wipers. When things go wrong, these computers produce error codes which can only be read with vehicle diagnostics equipment. You may see a warning light on your dashboard but these only give a small part of the full picture.
Our car diagnostic check picks up these errors and identifies what they mean, so component failures can be prevented before they lead to to further damage or expensive repairs.
Where can i get a diagnostic test on my car?
You don't have to go to a dealership to find faults. We can carry out diagnostic testing for almost all makes and model of car, and the service is available in all our auto centres.
What are the benefits of engine diagnostic checks?
Not all vehicles display fault lights when something goes wrong, an engine diagnostics scan may give early indication of a problem which could save you money in the future

AIR CONDITIONING
A car air conditioning system will lose approximatively 10% of its refrigerant every year, on average. Recharging the air con means replacing the lost refrigerant. It's sometime known as an air con 'regas'

How often should i have an air conditioning recharge?
In most cases, manufacturers recommend you service your vehicle air conditioning every two years. This varies from car to car however, so check your manual if you are not sure.
What's included in the Car Air Conditioning Service cost?
- Air con refrigerant recharge to manufacturers' recommended levels
- Replenishment of system oil
- Thorough checks for leaks, performance and temperature by ATA-trained technicians
- Evacuation of moisture and air from system, plus refrigerant recovery
Does the car air conditioning recharge service include air con repair?
No. If your system needs anything repaired, such as leaks and failed components, you'll need to have these fixed separately. Our technicians will check over the system as part of the air con service and advise you upfront of any repairs that are necessary, and what these will cost.
